Who were the stars of the Premier League (PL) this round?

The BBC’s Garth Crooks unveiled his best eleven for the 11th round of the 2023-24 PL on Sunday. The list includes players who excelled in the 3-4-3 formation.

The front three are Anthony Gordon (Newcastle), Nicola Jackson (Chelsea), and Cameron Archer (Sheffield Wednesday). Jackson completed a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur, who were facing injury and sending-off woes. Gordon and Archer were highly praised for their goals against Arsenal and Wolverhampton, respectively.

In midfield, Jeremy Dockoo, Bernardo Silva (Man City), Bruno Fernandes (Man United), and Joel Linton (Newcastle). Dockoo, in particular, is a worthy MVP of this round. He started against Bournemouth and racked up a whopping five offensive points (one goal and four assists) in 90 minutes. Against Fulham, Bruno scored an invaluable goal in stoppage time to lift United to victory.

Harry Maguire (United), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), and Moussa Niangate (Nottingham) round out the back three. Maguire, who has been proving himself since coming in after an injury to the backline, Van Dijk, a world-class center back and Liverpool captain, and Niakate, who kept a clean sheet against Aston Villa, were all outstanding. The last goalkeeper was Sam Johnstone (Palace).

The clubs with the most players were the Manchester brothers and Newcastle United. Man City with Silva and Doku, and the BIG 6 with Bruno and Maguire. Newcastle with Gordon and Joelinton made their mark as an emerging powerhouse. Liverpool and Chelsea also had one.

The North London brothers, whose unbeaten streak came to an end after this round, were wiped out. Arsenal were brought to their knees by a video assistant referee (VAR) controversy against Newcastle. Tottenham opened the scoring against Chelsea, but unexpected twists and continued bad luck kept their heads down. 무지개토토

The next round is just as exciting. Wolverhampton’s Hwang Heechan and Tottenham’s Son Heung-min will face off in the Korean derby. Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea and Pep Guardiola’s Man City will also be in action. Round 12 of the PL will take place from Nov. 11 to 13.
